The transducer sends out high-pitched sound waves that are reflected back to the transducer. A computer analyzes the sound waves and converts them into pictures that are displayed on a monitor. Pictures or videos can be made of the ultrasound images.

We are open 24 hours, 7 days a week for X-ray, CT scans for Emergency Room, and for inpatients
All other services available at the following times:
• MRI: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• Mammography: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• CT: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Ultrasound: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Nuclear medicine: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Bone density scans: Monday and Wednesday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• X-rays: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Echocardiograms: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. except on Wednesdays when offered 8 –11 a.m.
